Line of Demarcation

Just learned through good 'ole Google and discussions with my DU crew, that when you are just driving along, and you go from one type of weather to another, i.e. "Very distinct and sharp demarcation line between two air-masses of different moisture content....Not a cloud in the sky except for this crisp line separating the two air-masses.", this is known as the line of demarcation.

Of course, we have not yet encountered this "line of demarcation" in our journey, but we are anxiously anticipating one!  :)  Especially where the snow just disappears.

We even found Storm Chaser Jim's site with a picture of a line of demarcation.

Lines of demarcation are even relevant to hair and frost bite!
